Women's History Month Storytellers: Veterans

Women Ground Breakers of Chattanooga present the 6th annual celebration of Women's History Month & International Women's Day with a free and public Storytelling Series on four topics: immigration, education, civil rights, and veterans. Humanities Tennessee is a proud presenting sponsor of this series.  

Event #4, on the topic of veterans, will take place on Thursday, March 24th, at The Gathering Place @ The Crossing Church (7501 Standifer Gap Rd, Chattanooga, TN 37421) from 5-6:30pm. The storytellers include Patty Parks (U.S. Navy-retiree; TN State Director, Military Women Across the Nation); Aubrey Williams (U.S. Army; United State Military Academy, West Point); and Lt. Tay Brymer (Public Affairs Officer, Navy Operational Support Center, Chattanooga). Historical Context will be provided by Major Paul Dean (M.A. History; M.S. International Relations; Senior Army Instructor JROTC, Oolteway HS), and the discussion will be facilitated by Jessica Dumitru (J.D.; M.A. International Affairs; B.A. European History and International Politics).
