Women's History Month Storytellers: Civil Rights

Women Ground Breakers of Chattanooga present the 6th annual celebration of Women's History Month & International Women's Day with a free and public Storytelling Series on four topics: immigration, education, civil rights, and veterans. Humanities Tennessee is a proud presenting sponsor of this series.  

Event #3, on the topic of civil rights, will take place on Thursday, March 17th at Ridgeview Baptist Church (6 N. Moore Rd, Chattanooga, TN 37411) from 5-6:30 pm. Storytellers include Ardena Garth (Lawyer, Former TN Public Defender); Eleanor McCallie Cooper (Co-Founder of Chattanooga Connected); and Dollie Hamilton (Compensation Consultant, Human Resources). Historical context will be provided by Caroline Sunderland (Former Snieor Educator, Chattanooga History Center), and the discussion will be facilitated by Maria Noel (Diversity & Inclusion, Greater Chattanooga Chamber of Commerce).
