"Life on the Fence" Spanish Language Public Discussion in Morristown

Visit the Rose Center for the Arts in Morristown, Sunday, May 3, 2:00 pm, for a Spanish language public discussion, "Life on the Fence: a Long View of Guest Worker Programs," about the experiences of braceros (laborers) and their families, facilitated by Dr. DeAnn Pendry, UTK, and featuring migrant family members.

The discussion is one of a series of events in conjunction with the Bittersweet Harvest: The Bracero Program, 1942-1964 exhibit, which uses period images and oral histories to explore the twenty-two year guest worker program between Mexico and the US established during WWII.

The exhibit is on view April 17- May 31st and includes a range of public programs.  Check back for event updates!
