History Events at Granville Festival

Historic Granville, Inc. hosts its annual Geneaology Festival this year with an opening of the TN State Museum's traveling exhibit, "The Slaves & Slaveholders of Wessyngton Plantation."

The day's events include discussions with John Baker, author of the Washingtons of Wessyngton and Rob Dehart, curator of the exhibit. 

Also featured is Michael Bertrand, TSU, who will facilitate a discussion on "Region, Race & Memory: Inheriting the Civil War," a selection from Humanities Tennessee's Conversation Project.
