"Bittersweet Harvest" Opening Reception, Public Discussion in Morristown



The Bittersweet Harvest: The Bracero Program, 1942-1964 exhibit uses period images and oral histories to explore the twenty-two year guest worker program between Mexico and the US established during WWII.

Visit the Rose Center for the Arts in Morristown, Sunday, April 19, 1:30pm, for an opening reception followed by a public discussion, "Life on the Fence: a Long View of Guest Worker Programs," of the experiences of braceros (laborers) and their families, facilitated by Dr. DeAnn Pendry, UTK, and featuring migrant family members.

Bittersweet Harvest is on view April 17- May 31st, and includes a range of public programs.  Check back for event updates!
