Women on the Edge: Unsung Heroines of the Trojan War

The performance is a contemporary dance interpretation of the experiences of Helen of Troy, Cassandra, and Iphigenia from the classical Greek texts, and highlights the roles of women in that time period.  Grant funds provide partial support for two public discussion with choreographer Pascal Rioult and genders tudies professor Frances Henderson, as well as admission to the performance for twenty from a local women's shelter.
