Johnson City

Johnson City Reads Frankenstein was a community-wide reading and discussion program of Mary Shelley's famous work. Project events included film screenings of early 20th century versions of the story, panel discussions centering on science and ethics, and a Chautauqua presentation of Mary Shelley's character. Events occurred over a six week period during a showing of the exhibition, Frankenstein: Penetrating the Secrets of Nature from the American Library Association.
