Nathalie Dupree

is the author of thirteen cookbooks, including three James Beard Award winners: Mastering the Art of Southern Cooking (Gibbs Smith 2012, co-authored with Cynthia Graubart), Nathalie Dupree’s Southern Memories and Nathalie Dupree’s Comfortable Entertaining. Her previous books include Shrimp and Grits and Southern Biscuits. She has hosted more than 300 television shows and specials that have shown nationally on PBS, Food Network, and The Learning Channel. She was founding chairman of the Charleston Food and Wine Festival. She was awarded the Grand Dame of Les Dames d’Escoffier in 2012. She lives in Charleston.
