TN's Students Write Back

Three Saint Bernard Academy students
who earned an LAL honorable mention:
7th grader Liam and 8th graders Lohita and Katia.

We received 1,534 entries in this year’s Letters About Literature contest and have completed the preliminary rounds of judging. Thank you to all of the students who participated this year. State judging is going on now and winners will be announced in early April. It’s always exciting to read young peoples’ reactions to literature. We heard from students reacting to Maya Angelou, Melba Patillo Beals, Ray Bradbury, Suzanne Collins, John Green, Langston Hughes, Edgar Allan Poe, Ruta Sepetys, Amy Tan, and many more.
